Here is a snapshot of a new website project I finished. It is a website for a limo company in Houston, TX. Basically, the site is to bring in new clients that are traveling from outside of Houston and searching for private transportation. The site also serves to provide basic information about the company and how to book a ride with them. Since the company uses only black luxury vehicles and caters to people seeking rides for nightlife and events, the site theme black, clean, and elegant.

Months ago, Google rolled out a tool where you can test the speed of your website. Speed? Aren't we all on high-speed internet? How faster can websites load? Well, we or they are talking about seconds, milliseconds. The answer is no. In this fast-paced worlds, we want to see websites on our screens right way. Nobody has time to wait 30 seconds for a site to load. In this article Google explains in technical detail how a website loads and why they need to load fast.


I agree with what Google is saying. I think we don't need websites to load faster than a bullet fired, but as the web and tech increases, we need to make sure our sites don't become a burden or worse, get a negative page rank from Google.
